Hole 1 is slight dogleg right. An accurate drive is necessary, as the golf course driving range is on the right of the fairway, and a steep drop off to the left of the fairway can be trouble.

The smart drive is with a 235 yard drive from the blue tees to the landing platform in front of the creek that crosses just below. The green-side bunker protects the entire right side of green and Fescue guards the left side requiring a very accurate approach
